Instrumentation and Control
Practical PID Control and Loop Tuning
A hands-on workshop on the theory and practice of regulatory control and how to tune it to improve quality, safety, flexibility and cost. Participants learn through simulator sessions, exercises and questionnaires covering process reaction, tuning methods and diagnostic tools. Common problems such as valve hysteresis, stiction, non-linearity and integral windup are analysed.
