Drilling and Wells
Onsite Fluids Management - Well Site Supervisor
This unit prepares supervisors to put the planned fluid design for each hole section into practice with the mud engineer and rig crew. When actual conditions differ from the plan, participants learn to coordinate office, service and rig teams to adjust fluid type, chemistry, rheology and density. It also covers how fluids support wellbore stability, well control barriers, solids control and hole conditioning.
