Drilling and Wells

Fundamentals of Casing Design

This course walks through the complete casing design process using the working stress approach common in industry. Through lectures and many worked examples, participants learn to select casing points, define loads and specify suitable casing strings. Combined loading, high-pressure fracturing and safe handling and running practices are also covered.
