Drilling and Wells
Descriptive Formation Fundamentals - Well Site Supervisor
This unit gives supervisors an awareness of rock, fluid and petrophysical properties and how formation data is gathered in each hole section. It shows how that data feeds into well planning, drilling optimisation, completions and interventions. Wellbore stability, fracture gradients, casing seat selection and their effect on fluid design and lost circulation are also covered.
