Applied Seismic Anisotropy for Fractured Reservoir Characterisation
This course prepares geophysicists to evaluate naturally fractured reservoirs and plays that need hydraulic stimulation, using azimuthal seismic methods. Field and labouratory examples show how azimuthal traveltimes and amplitudes can be calibrated against independent stress and fracture measurements, from survey design through to interpretation.
